How did I get started with Elev8 Coaching?
I started my career in HR in healthcare, then moved to IT in the
pharmaceutical industry. During that time, I ALWAYS helped family with
job search advice. I wrote a LOT of resumes for friends. When my
career was winding down, I decided to pursue my career passion and run
my own company. It was the best decision ever.
What do I like about my business?
I like it all (except marketing)! While I enjoy helping folks from all industries,
I really like working with tech folks. I have a soft spot for women in tech
and for their struggles to get ahead - because I was there myself!
What are some traits I have?
I have a non-dominant brain! I'm both left-brained (logical, mathematical
and detail-oriented) and right-brained (creative, intuitive, and able to write).

What are my interests?
I often write and blog about current events and the job search industry. When I was in IT, I worked on HR systems, and improved them through business process changes, innovation, and new technogy. I'm fascinated
with AI and it's potential for great change. I try and share my insights with job searchers. Now that I am out of the corporate world I volunteer to the local community:

I'm passionate about being able to see what other's can't see in themselves. That's why I love working with tech folks. Some are so focused on what they deliver they don't always see the bigger picture. It's a great feeling to turn a resume filled with technical jargon to something 'connects the dots' and shows a client's accomplishments AND their value.

What's my philosophy?
Not everyone can write a fabulous resume or see themselves clearly. Sometimes people need a little career help.
